Here, under the tutelage of a master of traditional Chinese medicine, she immersed herself in the ancient art of acupuncture and the rich heritage of Chinese medicinal practices. Complementing this traditional education, she also gained proficiency in Western medicine technology, integrating the best of both worlds to enhance patient care. Her role as an MD in a major Chinese hospital for six years, including a critical stint in the emergency room for three years, saw her skillfully melding these approaches to treat a plethora of challenging diseases.
Bridging Eastern and Western Healing Arts
Transitioning to the United States, she brought with her a wealth of knowledge and expertise, securing both the California Acupuncture License and the National Acupuncture License in 1990. Her dedication to sharing her expertise led her to teach at the Los Angeles University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, influencing a new generation of practitioners. For 25 years, her practice flourished in the prestigious locales of West Hollywood and Beverly Hills, where she honed a variety of sophisticated acupuncture techniques. Beyond traditional methods, she adeptly employs specialized forms such as abdominal, floating, scalp, and navel acupuncture, as well as sports and Dong’s acupuncture, catering to the unique needs of each patient.
